Everything happens in your browser

QRForge is a static website. The QR code generator runs completely inside your browser using JavaScript. The links, text, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, logos and settings you enter are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. We have no database of generated codes and cannot see, store or recover what you create.

Local storage

To make the tool convenient, we save your last used content type, inputs, colors and design settings, your theme preference and your Pro license status in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Uploaded logos are kept in memory only and are discarded when you close the page.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate country, device type). Analytics is only loaded when it has been configured for this deployment.

We may display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Third-party resources

The page loads the open-source QR encoding library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Like any web request, your browser shares your IP address and user agent with that CDN when fetching the file. No content you type is ever sent to it.

Payments

Pro purchases are handled by a third-party payment processor on their own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details. The processor's privacy policy applies to the payment itself; we receive only what is needed to deliver your license.

Children

QRForge is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the current version is always available at this address. Questions can be sent through the contact details published on the site's listing or repository.
